The Paleodem project team presents its research work at two international virtual conferences, the 26th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA Budapest 2020), and the 10th International Conference of the Mesolithic in Europe (Meso’2020 Tolouse ). Contributions address different issues, such as the interaction between human groups and environmental dynamics, or the reconstruction of mesolithic social networks through ornaments. In addition, Mesolithic subsistence strategies based on the first zooarchaeological analysis of the El Collado fauna collection, and the results of fieldwork carried out in the open-air Mesolithic site of Arenal de la Virgen (Villena, Alicante) have been presented.
